World Medical Tourism & Global Health Congress, which is coming up in about 30 days, starting October 26, 2009 in Los Angeles. We have added some amazing speakers, such as Healthnet which insures over 6 million Americans and already has a cross border healthcare plan in place.

We have many insurance companies coming to speak from CIGNA, Aetna, US employers coming to speak on medical tourism, and health insurance agents. Also, for the first time the CDC and World Health Organization will be presenting on medical tourism. We expect to have hundreds of buyers at the conference who are interested in medical tourism which represent employers, insurance companies, Third Party Administrators, governments, and health insurance agents.

It is going to be an amazing event and the 125 booth exhibit hall is almost completely sold out! Bring a lot of business cards because you will need them and may run out! The hotel is also in an amazing place, right on the famous “Avenue of the Stars”, with MGM and Fox Studios right next store. The famous “Rodeo Drive” In Beverly Hills is only a five minute walk, the beach is 15 minutes away and Disneyland and Universal Studios is a short drive away. Don’t miss this event, because it is the only medical tourism convention in the world and only happens once per year.

Our Health Care System is an insurance-industry dominated system, and is a complete rip-off. Medical bills contribute to almost two of every three personal bankruptcies – even though three-quarters of these bankrupt people had insurance when they became sick. It is not surprising that Medical Tourism is becoming more popular.
