Please do share. I am considering a 7 day cruise to Mexican Rivera, this summer.

Cheers,

We did take the cruise just two weeks ago. Was a huge ship on Royal Caribbean, Mariner of the Seas. Held close to 2,800 cruisers and with 1,300 crew members. It also has a walking track on deck 12. Food was good, but, there was no Mexican cuisine on the dinner menus. At this time of the year, the Mexican Rivera with the ports of Cabo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta were humid and hot.

The ship has a very long promenade and many elevators. It has 15 decks.

Cheers,

Hi Ernie,

Who did you book through, Royal Carribbean directly or did you use a travel agency?

Sound like you were on the gulf side. Have you tried the Pacific side?

Thanks

Hi Bill,
We booked through cruises only via Orbitz (on-line).

The cruise ship sails on the pacific ocean from Los Angeles. Cabo is located where Sea of Cortez and Pacific ocean meet (called Baja or California Sur). Cabo is known as "Lands End". The cruise to Mazatlan, on the Mexican mainland crosses the Sea of Cortez and part of Pacific Ocean. It's a peninsula. Puerto Vallarta is on the Pacific, mainland of Mexico.

Cheers,

Ernie Martin
