Ernie Martin | | I was visiting this fort in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan last year March.
Great view of the desert from top of the fort. I did hire a local guide to give me a tour of the fort. Many of these tour guides, mostly men are waiting along the entrance of the fort; prices are relatively cheap. For about Rs.75 to 100, for about an hour. Some speak broken English, and many do speak Hindi, and almost all of them speak the local Marwadi. I went with the combination of English and Hindi.

If you are visiting Jaisalmer, don't forget to visit the Raja (ruler) manmade lake and building decors.
