The Package consists of
Arrival at Marayur, checkin at Chandana Residency Hotel. After freshening up go for a soft trek through the Sandal Wood Forest. After trekking through the forest visit - Anjunadu village ( a tribal kingdom with rulers and chiefs with their own governance). Then visit “ Muniyara the dolmens found here belongs to the Megalithic Age. These are granite structures in the shape of a table with dressed surfaces on the top.
Return to the hotel short tea break and snacks.
At 7:00 pm the guest will be transferred to a near by Tribal Village, campfire and dance at the tribal village. The guest will get change to dance with the tribal or to learn a few steps. Return to the hotel overnight stay at Chandana Residency.
2nd day early morning transfer to Chinnar, after chinnar , visit Indiragandhi National park, amarabathi river, you can watch elephant herds, bison and deer’s, staying in the river. We have 99% chances to see wildlife during the tour. After that proceed to Kantalloor a small town near to Marayoor, where you can visit – Jagry making farms and Contour farms where the tribals cultivate various vegitable and fruits , we can pluck or buy some fruits and enjoy the farm fresh fruits. After we will proceed with a Jeep journey towards, Mannavan Chola, ( It’s a high attitude Rain forest) you would feel as if you are in an African or Amazon forest, the forest is 70. million years old. After that proceed to the hotel or transfer to Munnar.
